Data validation is the process of ensuring that data is accurate, correctly formatted, and usable. Validated data is free of errors that would cause processing difficulties and can be freely transformed, interpreted, used, and transmitted.

There are several ways data is validated in Flatfile. The matching step, Data Hooks®, and our proprietary learning algorithms all work together to validate and clean your data. Once your data is validated, it is free to use, and you can use it confidently in whatever way you deem necessary for your workflow.
