Embedded is a way of referring to the method with which Flatfile is incorporated into one of your existing software applications. This method keeps you from relying on local hardware to do the intensive tasks of data validation and processing.

Portal 2.0, Portal 3.0, and the latest version of the Flatfile Data Exchange Platform are embedded products, and allow you to ingress data to be processed. They can be, as the name suggests, embedded into your organization’s apps and integrated into a seamless customer onboarding workflow. They rely on Flatfile’s servers (unless you are not using our server-side processing with Portal 2.0) to process data, making the experience quick, consistent, and convenient, especially for users on lower-end hardware.
