Getting Started in Workspaces

First, you will need to log in using your username and password at app.flatfile.io.

Once you have logged in, it’s time to create a data template. Data templates are how you tell Flatfile what you expect your data to look like. To create a data template, click on Templates in the left hand side of your dashboard. From here, you can create a data template by manually defining columns or by uploading a CSV representative of what you want your data to look like.

Next, it’s time to create a Workspace. You can create a Workspace by navigating to the Workspaces section of the Flatfile Dashboard and clicking Create Workspace. Each Workspace must have a name, an associated Organization, and one or more Data Templates attached to it.

After creating a data template and a Workspace, you can invite anyone you would like to collaborate with you.

And that’s it! All that’s left to do is upload your data!
