This article is for Flatfile's Portal 2.0, Portal 3.0, and Workspaces. If you'd like to check out the latest version of the Flatfile Data Exchange Platform, click here!

Whenever a user imports a file into Flatfile, both the original file and the version that has been sanitized will be stored in your dashboard in the 'Imports' section. The only exception to this is if you are using Portal 2.0 with the `managed: false` setting; in that case you'll see file name and basic information, but will not be able to access the original or cleaned-up file.

To access these files, click into the 'Imports' section of your dashboard and look for the file you are wanting to access. Click on the filename to open up a grid view of the contents of the file.

On the top left of the grid, you'll see two options: one for Final, and one for Original. These will let you see the final or original versions of the data that was imported.

On the top left you'll see a "download file" button. Clicking on this will give you the option to download the final or original versions of the file in either .csv or .xlsx formats.

If you would like to delete the file, you can click the trash icon to the right of the "Download File" button to delete the file. To understand how data deletion works in Flatfile, click here.
