Once your data is mapped and ready for review, you will see your data translated into the required output format. This step allows you to review and validate the data as well as correct or provide additional values that are required before you move on to the next step in the workflow.

To make manual changes to your data, simply double-click into a specific cell and type!

You may also see the fields highlighted in three different ways:

Underlined: This cell has been automatically transformed into a required format. Hover over the field to see the original value.

Yellow background: This cell has a warning - it will still be accepted, but you may need to review it first. Hover over the field to see the warning message.

Red background: This cell has an error that requires your manual change. Hover over the field to see the error message and make changes accordingly.

At the top of the review table is a bar that has several options to help you with bulk editing.

Filters:
You can filter the data in your table by "All", "Valid", and "Invalid". Clicking one of these will only show the records that meet that criteria, so clicking "Invalid" will only show records that have an error in one of their columns. This can help you narrow down the fields that need to be edited before they should be submitted.

You'll also see an option to "Filter by error" - this will let you identify the specific columns that have an error and enable you to filter just by errors on that column to work on similar records.

Search:

Next to the "All" filter, you'll see a magnifying glass you can use to pull up a search bar. You can use this to search through your data for records containing specific words or matching certain criteria. If you aren't just doing a simple keyword search, you can use Flatfile's Query Language to filter your data and find the correct records.

Bulk Editing:

Flatfile also offers a number of bulk editing tools to help manage records in Review. Read more about them here!
