Flatfile’s Relational Data feature allows you to create and configure multiple data templates that are linked to one another. Data templates that are linked to are called primary templates, and data templates that contain links to other data templates are called linked templates.

Removing or deleting a primary template will remove all linked templates connected to it. Linked templates can be removed, deleted, or edited without affecting the primary template. Removing the relational fields within these templates will change both templates back to normal, non-relational templates–in other words, the templates will no longer be related, and neither template will be a primary or linked template.
