This guide will walk you through the steps to use Inline Transform directly within your sheet.

Inline Transform allows you to prompt the Transform agent directly within your sheet.

After you’ve completed mapping, you’ll land in your workbook and see any validation errors highlighted in red. Inline Transform helps you resolve errors right where you see them.

Note: Transform—including Inline Transform—is an add-on to the Flatfile Projects product. There may be an additional cost to enable it on your account. Reach out to success@flatfile.com if you’re interested in learning more.

How to use Inline Transform

  1. Click on the three-dot icon next to the column name you want to edit.

  2. Click on Transform to open the inline prompting window.
